Tinieblas is a popular Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, known for his distinctive all-black attire. His costume includes a black hooded mask, a black bodysuit, and silver accents.

He first appeared in the world of Lucha Libre in 1968. Often paired with a smaller masked companion named Alushe, Tinieblas's imposing physique and mysterious persona made him a box office draw.

Tinieblas became a cultural icon, extending his popularity beyond wrestling into films and television. He has starred in numerous Lucha Libre-themed movies throughout his career.
